About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Technical Product Owner & Project Manager to join our client’s team in Winterthur.

In this role, you will combine technical expertise, product thinking, and business understanding to design and deliver innovative digital solutions. You will work closely with customers and development teams to analyse requirements, define concepts, and successfully guide digital products from idea through implementation.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of digital products, software development processes, and modern technologies. You are able to translate business needs into technically sound solutions, identify digital opportunities, and actively contribute to the further development of products, platforms, and customer initiatives.

A strong interest in AI and emerging technologies is essential, as you will evaluate and implement opportunities to improve customer solutions, internal processes, software development, and ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex digital customer projects in the areas of web applications, software solutions, and digital platforms

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into clear concepts, specifications, and actionable requirements for development teams

• Act as the central interface between customers, business stakeholders, and software engineers throughout the product lifecycle

• Collaborate closely with development teams from initial conception and prioritization through implementation, testing, and delivery

• Define and further develop product strategies, roadmaps, and backlogs with a focus on business value, impact, and feasibility

• Identify digital opportunities and proactively develop solutions that increase product value and create measurable business benefits

• Support customers in shaping digital products and optimizing business processes through technology

• Evaluate and implement AI-driven opportunities within customer solutions, internal processes, and software development practices

• Contribute to long-term customer relationships through proactive consulting, innovative ideas, and entrepreneurial thinking

• Several years of professional experience in digital environments, ideally involving web applications, software solutions, digital platforms, or e-business projects

• Strong technical background with practical experience in software development or close collaboration with development teams

• Excellent understanding of digital products, user needs, business impact, and technical feasibility

• Experience in Product Ownership, Requirements Engineering, Business Analysis, or Technical Project Management

• Good understanding of modern web and software architectures, including:

  • APIs and REST services

  • Data models and integrations

  • Cloud technologies

  • Deployment processes and software delivery

• Ability to successfully bridge business requirements and technical implementation

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, independent, and solution-oriented approach

• Strong interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies

• Excellent German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related discipline is an advantage
