IT Solution Architect

Are you an IT architect who is equally comfortable designing a cloud architecture and getting hands-on to implement it? This might be for you.

We are looking for an IT System Architect on behalf of our client, a leading Swiss manufacturing company based in Canton Bern. The company is on a clear cloud transformation journey and needs someone to own it, drive it, and make it happen.

The role

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving the company's Azure cloud architecture end-to-end. This means taking ownership of Landing Zone design, hybrid networking, Entra ID and identity management, Azure Governance and policy frameworks, and security architecture. Beyond Azure, you will also take a broader IT architecture responsibility: defining standards, evaluating new technologies, coordinating external partners, and ensuring the company's IT landscape evolves in a structured and sustainable way. You will act as the trusted technical advisor to IT leadership and be expected to build internal know-how over time.

What we are looking for

• You know Azure deeply, from having built things hands-on.

• You are structured enough to think architecturally and pragmatic enough to roll up your sleeves when needed

• You have experience coordinating external vendors and partners and keeping delivery on track

• You communicate clearly with both engineers and management

• You speak German fluently
